ACCESS TO SPIRITUAL SUCCESS
(1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
(2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
(3) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
(4) And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
(5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:1-5
Waiting on God creates patience; patience creates endurance; endurance creates fortitude; fortitude is preserving.
Let our faith arise and our fears will be scattered: God is the Author and Finisher of our Faith! In faith it is that God given faith which is the admission into his presence. I cannot pass through a threshold that I will not open the door to enter. Through faith I’ve been justified and now possess a transcending incomprehensible peace through the veil or blood of Jesus. I can stand in the presence of God through the sanctifying of the Spirit.
(14) Inasmuch, then, as we have in Jesus, the Son of God, a great High Priest who has passed into Heaven itself, let us hold firmly to our profession of faith.
(15) For we have not a High Priest who is unable to feel for us in our weaknesses, but one who was tempted in every respect just as we are tempted, and yet did not sin.
(16) Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our times of need. Hebrews 4:14-16
The Kingdom of God is eternal and we have become subjects of that eternal kingdom. Our Priest King is not high and haughty but condescends to a meekness and lowliness of heart. He understands trial and temptation and bids us to come to him. Therefore by faith we can enter boldly into the throne room of grace and receive mercy and find strength to help in times of need. He will turn our weakness into a weapon that overthrows the wiles of the devil.
Many times sin looks like a Goliath with stands to mock God in our lives; it is always brutish, badgering, bullying us to give up and give in to the battle. But through our continual access to God by faith we can stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. There are often many battles fought before a war is won.
The vacuums of life are designed to suck out the flesh to make room for the spirit. Don’t be carnal minded be celestial minded instead. “A faith that can’t be tested is a faith that can’t be trusted” the good doctor said! Therefore; I shall declare the glory of the Lord who has infused me with a measure of faith and I shall add to that faith the virtues of my new nature which is created in the image and likeness of my Holy God. When I hear the giants of sin taunting; when I perceive the ruin they propel; when I hear the doubts whisper; I shall declare the word of the Most High! For in his perfect presence I withstand fiery darts; deep within his bosom in safety I will dwell. For there is no weapon formed against me that ever shall prevail.
(1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
(2) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
(3) Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
(4) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:1-4
I will come into his presence with full assurance and faith in his unyielding love. Faith as small as a mustard seed can take me into his presence; it can move a mountain and bring me victory. Therefore my faith is the faith that has been given to me. Yet it is mine to be a wise steward over and to use for the glory of God and his Kingdom. Brethren let us use this faith to seek him more than ever before; and to do his will with love and zeal. Selah
