EMOTION, IMAGINATION, & FALSE INSPIRATION
People who live by their emotions are easy to herd by opinion which often conflicts with reality.
People who live by truth are usually informed decision makers based upon moral and logical reason.
Sometimes compassion can be an emotion that leads us by the horns right into laughter.
Sometimes passion can be an emotion that leads us into a dilemma of contradiction.
Actually many times these two emotions are hypocrisy when it comes to their application in other arenas of life.
The imagination of the heart and mind are usually embellished by ulterior motives to accomplish a purpose.
God likens people to gullible sheep whom need the assistance of others to make decisions for them. Are we not living in such an atmosphere where the blind follow the blind and no one cares to hear or know the truth; why? It doesn’t set well with their emotional opinions!
The master manipulator enjoys stirring emotions that contradict truth in order to disperse chaos. Harsh division is the result of being led by opinion instead of listening to the truth of a matter. Brethren; God has given us discernment to utilize when our emotions begin to rule our actions.
(16) Do not err, my beloved brethren.
(17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:16-22
Brethren in these volatile times we cannot afford to be led by our emotions, imagination, or false inspiration. The word warns us about the reprobate mentality of people in these last of the last days. When we allow ourselves to be caught up in the lying delusions of the world we set our own selves up to be deceived into actions unbecoming of our divine nature! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
