THE WORLD AT WAR
(16) All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for restoration, and for training in righteousness,
(17) so that the person belonging to God may be capable, fully equipped for every good deed. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 TLV
We are blessed as a people; to have the Holy Scriptures to guide up; all scripture which has proven to be canonized is God breathed and profitable for the above uses. The scriptures the apostles and early preachers used was by and in large the Old Testament. The Holy Spirit opened the eyes of their understanding and through Jesus himself before he was caught up in the cloud to be with the Heavenly Father were he sets at his right hand now ever making intercession for the saints of God. As many scholars have found over the years that scripture has one interpretation; yet they also possess many applications. Ardent bible readers and soul searchers in the pursuit of greater understanding have found much comfort for their souls from the scriptures.
Unfortunately we also that many do not interpret scripture through the exegesis method which draw the meaning which is there; but pose the opposite method which is inference or putting into scripture what is not there to begin with. So then interpretation is an important key to understanding scripture property and the doctrines of the faith precisely. Now let us go into this treatise concerning the eschatology or doctrine of last things as interpreted in the Greek.
Brethren we are at a point in prophecy where Jesus spoke warning the apostles and disciples of how things would be and how they would be orchestrated in that generation. In the midst of Matthew 24 beginning in verse 5 we read:
(5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
(7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(8) All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:5-8 KJV
The Greek clearly indicates that the nations (ethnos) defined as “race” which is none Jewish hence; the gentile against another gentile. These nations are identified by their habits which are pagan and foreign to the habits and dynamics of Judaism. The word habit(s) could also be interpreted to mean “culture” meaning that the same habits are practiced by all who are a part of the nation believe the same things and celebrate the same things. The un-regenerated people of the world strive for unity and that unity will come under the reign of the Antichrist for a season. But wars will ensue until the man of sin the son of perdition arises to bring that unity to a world bent upon destruction. We have watched as the European Union and much of the Old World has returned to paganism; yet at the same time they have also become nationalist in that union and now want to impose that oneness upon the rest of the world. At this venture in the prophetic scheme of things we are most certainly seeing here in the United States. Brethren let us remember we are called to spiritual warfare. We war in the spiritual realm against those forces which are manifesting in the physical realm.
(3) For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh;
(4) for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,
(5) throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB
Satan positions himself within the confines of the spiritual realms and conditions people’s minds through injecting thoughts which war against the truth of God to purposefully cause division through prejudice and the malice that often follows it.
As soon as we exalt one ethnicity over another ethnic group whether it be our particular group or another one; it then becomes a matter of race baiting and pride. “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall”.
Mental subjectivity has led many astray to the point of apostasy and then to a reprobate mind. It’s amazing how one’s own mind can conjure up imaginations and subjective emotions that feel so real that they fall prey to their own mind’s deceptive devices and then become open to the powers of darkness that enhance those emotions, imaginations, and false and misleading inspirations. That same subjectivity has caused people feign sicknesses and even healings to only find out that things were figments of their own imagination. The difference between spirituality and subjectivity is they’re at opposite ends of the spectrum. When something spiritually generated by the Holy Spirit happens it will have tangible results. When something is subjectively driven it has only imaginative unreal results that end up harming or fading away. Brethren; our weapons are spiritual and infused with the might of God to pull down imaginations, subjective emotions, and false and misleading inspiration that exalts itself against the wisdom, knowledge, and will of God. Let us exercise the weapon of faith with works or in other words faith with action!
(17) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
(18) Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
(19) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
(20) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
(21) Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
(22) Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
(23) And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
(24) Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:17-24 KJV
When we come to Christ it is not our works that save us but the precious blood of Jesus! We are not righteous in or of ourselves but when we are redeemed our works are the works of Christ being manifest through us.
Sometimes God has to shake us to wake us to the reality of where we are spiritually. Remember Christ is a solid rock build on him and you shall never be moved even unto death. Faith is walking by believing; but many do not have that kind of faith. Those who exercise their faith become examples to those around them; faith justifies them in the end. Yet sometimes our faith is strong while at other times it seems to elude us. When those times of trying come we should bear down and rely upon our God to regenerate that fading faith and restore us to the robust faith that sustains us. What is that faith? It’s not faith in faith; but trust focused in our God the object of our adoration. Trust Jesus my brethren: he is the way to walk in this world, he is the life of our lives eternal, and he is the only true truth that sets us free. Let us walk in the light as he is in the light and we shall have fellowship with one another.
Yet if we fall prey to the carnal mind that wars against God and his principles; God will first chasten us before he restores us. He will not be present if we continue to sin in the fashion of pride, prejudice, and predominance! We can call upon him until the Kingdom comes; but he will not answer us until we admit our guilt of sin against our brethren and turn from it to him again.
I will go and return to My place until they admit their guilt. Then they will seek My face. In their distress they will seek Me earnestly: Hosea 5:15
(1) Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
(2) After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
(3) Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
(4) O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
(5) Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
(6) For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. Hosea 6:1-6 KJV
The above passage is indicative of the action God takes against those who willfully sin against their brethren. We are supposed to be maturing in our faith daily and learning how to cohabitate with our counterparts in the world and even within the body of Christ we should never give in to the mentality of racism. If you’ve fallen into the ploy of the race baiters I charge you to repent and resubmit your life to Christ. Jesus warned us of these things beforehand so would prepare ourselves against them. I pray that you will heed the words of our Savior and come out from the world into the sanctuary of God’s presence where love, acceptance, and forgiveness abounds to his glory and to our benefit.
